Hi, been saving this email and today said yes to saying yes to the Reunion.  Although I will be a stranger, thought of the distinction of graduating from WHS in '70 and yes it was a distinction.  Probably for all the different reasons than ya'll.  Let's join and celebrate the differences.  Diane

So happy I found this website!  But at the same time soooooo sad to see how many of our classmates have passed so young!  Sixty is way too young.  I wish I knew everyone better and knew all their life stories.  So much has happened over 5o years (class of 70) How do you get caught up during one night.  I'm doing well (now, knock on wood) and am married to the same guy I met at 19.  Been in Orange County, CA since 1988.  Currently I'm a real estate broker.  So many stories to tell.  Where do we begin....would love to hear your stories ;-)

Hey All You Warriors!  Hope you have a smashing time at the upcoming Reunion.  Wish we could be there; but we live 40 miles north of Seattle, so not just a LA Fwy drive to get there any more. Hopefully, we will make the next one -- especially if it is later in September.   Meanwhile, enjoy!  Let me know how it went and send pictures! Kati

Just came across this website  , and saw my dads name on the "in memory of 1968" (Steve Patten ) So nice to have his name posted in remembrance. He served in Vietnam in 1969 and was injured.....and passed away of pancrentitis in 1984. I was only 5 years old at the time of his passing, and was never able to discover any high school photos or  yearbooks. If any former classmates have any photos or memories of him during his high school years would be great to see/share with family. Thanks : )

Hello everyone.  I just found this website.  I had been looking for some time to find out about any 40th reunion for the class of 1970.  I was really dissapointed when I found out the 40th reunion was held in 2009.  It sounds like it was great and I wish I had been there.  Good luck to all!  Any contacts are welcome.

Hey all, does anyone have class photos for Victor Elementary School classes of people who would have graduated West '68 and '69? I don't seem to have any photos of Littleford's or Cykon's for '62 and '63. How about Meadow Park also? I don't remember any photos taken. So I guess we have to start getting ready for the high school's 50th now, eh? Also, I got an offer in the mail for the dvd, but not for the photos taken. Have people gotten those? Thanks.

The 40th reunion was the best I have atttended. It was very well organized  as the location, D.J. and appetizers were great. I also had the opportunity to visit with special friends I regret not seeing in years since moving out of state. I would like to thank the entire committee for doing an outstanding job  and all their hard work to make  this  reunion  the best ever. Thank you.

To all of the committ members.....Dean, Jim, Jess, Renae, Penny, Dinah, Vicki, Chris, Nancy, Rick, Donna, You guys rocked it again!  What a blast! Even though it wasn't my class I felt accepted as if it was. You all did a fantastic job and being as Vicki is my Sister I see 1st hand at all the work that goes into making these events a success. The outcome makes all that hard work worth it. You all are my mentors as I am heading up the committee for my class of 78' so I will be coming to  you for help since you are the BEST! When I grow up I want to be just like you! LOL It was really great seeing so many people that I used to annoy when I was a kid and probably still do today. Even met some new people. Cindi and Nicholle- was really glad I met you both and hope to get together again. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks again for such a great time. Leslie

What is there to say except, "WHAT A NIGHT!"  Thank you, Reunion Committee, for the year long labor of love that you poured into this event.  It was such fun connecting with old friends. I had some great laughs, shed a few tears and I was touched & impressed with the love that was evident in the room toward one another.   There are a few of you Warriors that I did not run into and I'm so sorry for the missed opportunity.   The photos that are coming in (Rory, you rock!) will keep the evening alive for me always.  Dean, let's do it again :)

Hey Warriors I am on the fence but after reading the messages may attend.  I am trying to get Mr. Holt to come from Salt Lake.  My pal Michelle Anson passed away last year from Breast Cancer so thinking about reunions is bitter sweet this year.
I am married to an Italian and we have a 20 year old son that graduated from West.
What happend to Kim Borton, & Karen Latta, my softball pals.  Okay Marie Schneider and Pam Coleman are you going?  Alice I see signed up recently.  Mike Neal can't be lost Brad Cooms and Jack Area have his info.
I am thinking of having an open house on Sunday in Torrance.  Anyone gonna be in town?    Ciao for now Elaine

The best part about a reunion is the unconditional acceptance of one another.  We were all insecure kids trying to fit in.  It was a very historic time, but who knew?  At least most of us are still alive to reminisce about our carefree days in school.  Looking forward to seeing you all.  Your committee has been working hard to make sure you all have a great time.  Please help us find missing classmates and encourage them to come.  See you in September.

I look forward to seeing everyone, curious as to how life has shaped us into the people we are today. What bubbles have burst, what new paths were bushwacked, what new vistas explored. What's going on inside those individual little craniums of ours. How we sum up the last half century. What the heck do we think is happening in the world today!?! And where do we go from here... P.S. I like discussing politics and religion, philosophy, science - no reason to keep them off the table that I can see. And be sure to save room for "The Colbert Report," "Morrissey's latest cd, Season 3 of "Man Men," and other culture du jour. Did I omit anything? Oh yes, reminiscing. Thank goodness for Dinah's memory bank! ;)

Got the call from Renee today.   I don't even feel 39, so how could I have graduated 39 years ago??  I went to the 5 & 10 year reunions - haven't been back since.  Maybe I'll sign up for the September event.  Anyway, hope everybody's well & hanging in there.  What a changed world we live in!  Was absolutely shocked when reading the In Memory page.  Very sad.  Have a great week, everyone!

Look, Sandy, stop projecting. You really don't think everyone else had as crazy a life as you, come on now! Anywho...I'll write more of a bio later. Both Sandy and I owe a current photo, but first we have to get styled, hire a make-up artist, do the whole spa thing, etc. :)
Now on to the more serious: This is an Open Invitation to anyone interested in joining us next Thursday night, May 21, 8pm, at Actors Gang Theatre in Culver City for "Our Town." It marks the 40th anniversary of Michael (George Gibbs) Dixon's death in Vietnam. (Yes, there is definite irony here.) Thursdays are pay what you can at the door or order online at theactorsgang.com. I'd appreciate a heads up from anyone who plans on coming. Let any '67'ers know to pass the word. Hope to see and talk to everyone soon.

Would love to make the reunion, but probably will not be able to.  Too bad it's not in May  09, as I will be in San Diego for my daughter's graduation.  I am living in the Deep South now.
Would love to hear from anyone interested in sharing the memories, especially  Joelyn White, Carlynn Wood, Randy Anderson, Lorna Anderson, Tom Signs,  et al.......  Drop me a line.

Autumn Landers please email me. I've often thought of you, Jan and Toni. You were like my family back in the day. I looked through the photo album and saw you. Dean Owens thanks for the heads up. I'd hope to make the reunion. Mike Lockard

Wow, it's time for another reunion; this should be another great reunion.  I'm looking forward to seeing "old" classmates and hopefully some I haven't seen at past reunions.
